Paxman as a company was born out of a husband’s desire to prevent his wife from suffering through the trauma of chemotherapy-induced hair loss. Our founder and chairman Glenn Paxman used his knowledge and expertise in the refrigeration industry to pioneer a scalp cooling system that enables people going through chemotherapy treatment to maintain their hair.

The family mentality of caring and supporting those going through what can be traumatic treatment side effects is maintained to this day and has become a core value as Paxman continues to grow. We understand how important consistency, privacy and control are to a patient facing cancer.

Reimbursement Specialist - US

The Reimbursement Specialist for Paxman US Inc is responsible for supporting the US Reimbursement team and successful implementation of the Insurance Based Billing Model for Scalp Cooling and any future approved devices, and directly supporting the Vice President, US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established processes and procedures to support customers through all phases of implementation of the Insurance Based Billing Model for both SC and any future approved devices. Following training and support this involves working towards both leading and supporting on customer communication via video calls, trainings and email based communication.
  • Take a leading role in managing all data entry and organization involved in managing the IBBM business model e.g. CRM data entry and organization and reporting, both for self and others on the team as needed. Responsible for creation, management and updating of Excel spreadsheets and other dashboards and reports as needed for internal and external reference.
  • Working closely with the Senior Director, Reimbursement and Product Strategy, maintain a high level of engagement with Paxman customer sites through account management, proactive outreach and ongoing regular follow-up and communication.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally, building rapport and relationships with peers and provider site personnel.
  • Maintain records of customer outreach and issues uncovered; escalating issues appropriately to leadership.
  • Provide key operations level support to the VP, US, and the Senior Director, Reimbursement and Product Strategy. This could include but is not limited to; data entry, scheduling, event management tasks for internal and external meetings, coordination of on-site meetings and business dinners, ordering supplies, managing expenses and special projects as needed.  

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Relevant healthcare experience highly preferred, such as experience working within a biopharmaceutical, medical technology or device company or working directly at a site of care (e.g. hospital, phyiscian office etc.).
  • Working knowledge/ familiarity of site of care billing e.g. CPT codes, ICD diagnosis codes, insurance reimbursement etc.
  • Experiece and use of CRM or Salesforce-type program preferred
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

Digital Performance Manager

Experienced, responsible and proactive marketeer, to further strengthen and add vital resource to the existing Marketing team at Paxman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building strategy within the digital area of marketing activities to fit with overarching marketing strategy – this includes but is not limited to websites, SEO, digital campaigns, lead generation etc
  • Supporting the launch of Paxman’s rebranded website, ensuring SEO best practice
  • Growing and optimising digital activity to ensure effective communication of messaging as well as enabling targeted lead generation
  • Take the lead on SEO and website development projects for coldcap.com, ensuring the best UX.
  • Reporting on and monitoring of integrated digital marketing analytics across all websites, providing insights and recommendation to ensure optimised
  • Management and company-wide integration of CRM for lead retrieval delivering effective and targeted comms
  • Providing guidance and support to the International Marketing Manager where appropriate on distributor digital activity
  • Project management where appropriate, focusing on organisation and detail that is essential for execution
  • Scope and review relevant KPIs within projects and maintain ROIs through out
  • Provide support and play an active part in generation of idea, scoping and delivery of strategic marketing projects in support of Head of Dept
  • Working with internal and external key stakeholders and leading on comms where appropriate
  • Creating copy and content marketing for projects including website development, presentations and campaigns where appropriate
  • Manage content creation where appropriate including video, photography, animation etc with external parties where needed including support of editing process etc

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree and a minimum or 5 years experience in a marketing role with a proven track record

  • Broad experience across digital and traditional marketinHighly proficient strategic, digital and analytical skill sets

  • Global experience useful but not essential
