Paxman as a company was born out of a husband’s desire to prevent his wife from suffering through the trauma of chemotherapy-induced hair loss. Our founder and chairman Glenn Paxman used his knowledge and expertise in the refrigeration industry to pioneer a scalp cooling system that enables people going through chemotherapy treatment to maintain their hair.

The family mentality of caring and supporting those going through what can be traumatic treatment side effects is maintained to this day and has become a core value as Paxman continues to grow. We understand how important consistency, privacy and control are to a patient facing cancer.

Sales Order Processor

 

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join our team. The Sales Order Processor will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director in ensuring the sales order processing function for the trading companies within our Group is compliant and up to date.

Responsibilities
- Work with the sales and logistics team on sales order processing, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing across all entities globally

-Assist with credit control and reconciliation of sales ledgers for trading companies

- Handle customer and internal queries

- Issue customer statements for trading companies

-Assist with day-to-day activities of the Accounts Receivable function, including processing sales invoices, verifying and recording transactions

- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills
Good IT Skills, with experience in Microsoft Excel

Ability to learn new accounting software

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Mentoring, internal training & development will be provided

Social Media Manager & Content Creator

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and focused marketeer with a robust understanding of social media and digital marketing to join our team. The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will be responsible for leading, deploying and taking ownership of our social media presence in addition to supporting with written content. 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimise high-impact social media campaigns with informative, educational, inspirational and user-generated content
  • Take the lead on delivering paid social media campaigns
  • Contribute heavily to developing annual/quarterly evidence-based social media strategies
  • Deliver regular social media performance and insights reports to the wider marketing team, identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist with community management across all platforms
  • Support the team with written content as required, including email, news articles etc. 

Skills

Degree or equivalent with robust understand of social media and content marketing 

3+ years experience in social media marketing

Strong content writing skills

Experience with paid social media advertising preferred 

Ability and desire to learn

Self-starter, motivated, and proactive individual
